Weddings and Functions

Rustic Country Setting for your Special Event

An ideal setting for weddings and other functions, Meadow Wind’s nearly two-acre backyard offers incredible views of Hebron common, meadow, and mountains beyond.  On the western side of Meadow Wind is the common, the center of Hebron’s 248-acre historic village district listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Meadow Wind is flanked on its remaining sides by beautiful meadows and woods that once belonged to the farm and are now owned and permanently conserved by New Hampshire Audubon.  Across North Shore Road is Audubon’s Ash Cottage, a nature center that was once Meadow Wind’s guest cottage, and pristine Newfound Lake

The Perfect New England Barn Wedding

Spectacular sunsets over Hebron village and its only church, the Union Congregational Church, provide the perfect backdrop for weddings and receptions in our large backyard.  Audubon’s Ash Cottage grounds are a popular venue for wedding ceremonies.  The Audubon sanctuary is situated on Hebron marsh and bay and offers breathtaking views down Newfound Lake.  Audubon accepts nominal donations for the use of the sanctuary for wedding ceremonies and parking.

We’ll furnish the spectacular scenery, power, water, and all the help you need to put together the perfect wedding.  We have a long list of caterers, bands, DJs, florists, tent (including tables, chairs, and dance floors) and portable toilet vendors … and we can even line up a farmer's tractor and wagon for you.

A fabulous barn wedding at Meadow Wind Bed and Breakfast was recently featured on the Rustic Wedding Chic website. Take a look at the beautiful country setting and stunning details.

Retreats, small conferences, anniversaries, family reunions, snowshoe and ski parties

Meadow Wind’s a wonderful, quiet getaway for small conferences, off-site meetings, and artists, writers, and health retreats. Lunch with us or at Hebron’s Village Store, the second oldest village store in New Hampshire and just a two-minute walk across the common.  Take a break, walk to the lake beach, or find yourself a secluded sandbar and swimming hole on the Cockermouth River … or hike out our backyard and across Audubon’s trails to the Hebron Town Forest, Spectacle Pond, and the vast Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests protected land behind us.

We’re ideally suited for anniversaries and family reunions.  You can spread out here … there’s plenty to do and lots of services.  Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and hiking—in daylight or under a full moon and stars—are some of our favorite activities … followed by a trip to the hot tub in our barn, you simply can’t beat it.
